Elleni Kapoor, DDS

Dedicated to children’s dental care

Dr. Elleni Kapoor completed her undergraduate and D.D.S. degrees at The Ohio State University in her hometown of Columbus, OH, and has remained a proud Buckeye fan ever since. A general dentist limiting her practice to children’s dentistry, Dr. Elleni served as lead dentist in a pediatric dental practice in Texas before continuing on in Rochester, Minnesota. With extensive and diverse experience spanning over a decade, she brings genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with children to her practice. Her clinical expertise involves all aspects of dentistry, including the judicious provision of nitrous oxide sedation.

Dr. Elleni is dedicated to making a difference in the Hampton Roads community by providing personalized, gentle care and insisting that dental visits can be fun for kids of all ages. She is committed to providing her pediatric patients with the highest quality dental care and looks forward to helping them keep their smiles through continued care into young adulthood. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, Kapil Kapoor, an ophthalmologist, and her three kids. She loves traveling and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and the beach, of course!

Katherine Salinas, DDS

Creating positive, fun dental experiences for kids

Dr. Katherine Salinas was born in Ecuador and moved to New York City 14 years ago, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hunter College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Her love for working with children began during college, when she worked as a babysitter and at a nursery school. She also spent two years as a research assistant at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital, further deepening her interest in working with children. These experiences inspired her to pursue pediatric dentistry and fueled her passion for creating positive, comfortable, and fun dental experiences for her young patients.

After many years in New York, Dr. Salinas recently moved to Virginia with her fiancé, a Navy dentist, and is excited to call Virginia home. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, baking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. She looks forward to getting to know her patients and helping them build healthy smiles and positive dental experiences that last a lifetime.

Shany

Creating a welcoming experience for every family

Born and raised in Israel, Shany brings a strong work ethic, resilience, and dedication to everything she does. After serving two years in the Israeli military, she developed the discipline, leadership, and problem-solving skills that continue to guide her professional and personal life today. She is also a successful entrepreneur who has built and managed a thriving business for over a decade.

As a proud mother of three amazing children, family remains at the center of her life. Shany is an active dance mom who is deeply involved in supporting her children’s passions and activities. Outside of work and family, she enjoys staying active through sports and Pilates, embracing a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Shany brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach, helping create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient. She is passionate about helping others and building meaningful relationships.

Sarah

Proud Virginia Beach native serving her community

Sarah is a proud Virginia Beach native. After graduating from Princess Anne High School, she continued her education at Old Dominion University and ECPI University. She has been in the dental field since 2015, when she first worked as Dr. Elleni’s dental assistant. Throughout her career, she has held positions such as dental assistant, treatment coordinator, and business team lead. Combined with her education, these roles have provided the stepping stones that prepared her for her current role as assistant practice administrator at General Dentistry 4 Kids.

She thoroughly enjoys serving the local community and delivering a tailor-made experience for each family seeking care with the practice.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys gardening, spending time with family, and being outdoors. You might catch her around town hiking at First Landing State Park, dining at a local restaurant, or most likely in the water at Sandbridge Beach, either swimming or surfing. The ocean is her happy place! She is happily married to her husband, Carl.
